原爆をテーマにした、現代アートのグループ展「Take it Home, for (__)Shall Not Repeat the Error. [Manhattan Project]」が、ニューヨークのギャラリー「apexart」で開催される。会期は3月28日から5月24日まで。
2024年に日本原水爆被害者団体協議会がノーベル平和賞を受賞したことに加え、2025年は広島?長崎への原爆投下と終戦から80年目の節目の年になる。広島出身の半田颯哉がキュレーターを務める今回の展示は、apexartが資金とスタッフをサポートする国際公募に寄せられた74カ国、472件の応募から2位に選出されたことから実現。2023年の広島、東京に続く巡回展となる。被爆者や核実験、第二次世界大戦後の体制のあり方などをテーマにしたインスタレーションやドローイングが展示される。
